Gaua is back after its success at BIME Lives last edition.
A club within a festival. Where the sound and the programme are taken care off in detail so you can enjoy the party until early morning. On this occasion we have the honour of inviting DJs as big as Jackmaster, Mano Le Tough, Joy Orbison, Leon Vynehall, Willow and El_Txef_A.
Glasgow DJ Jack Revill, Jackmaster, was already resident at the local institution Monox when he was just 17 years old. In 2010 he won the 'Breakthrough DJ' award at DJ Magazine's Best Of British Awards. He promoted his own club night, created his own label, Numbers (publishing Jamie XX among others), and mixed FabricLive57, with a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Resident Advisor. The DJ’s proactivity is as amazing as the variety of his sessions.
Mano Le Tough is an Irish DJ and producer based in Berlin. He started out as a student at the Red Bull Music Academy and is already considered one of the new European techno golden boys. In 2008 he caught the attention of DJs and media around the world with his single Inside Animal Minds, and already has two albums with label Permanet Vacation.
London born Peter O'Grady, known as Joy Orbison, is a precocious DJ and producer. His style includes all sorts of genres, going from house, dubstep, or jungle. His first single was critically acclaimed (Top 1 for Fact Magazine), and he has since stood out as a DJ in Resident Advisors Top artists. He is also known for his collaborations with Boddika.
British producer Leon Vynehall (house, deep house and downtempo) began as resident Dj in Brighton based club Akaakaroar, at the same time he released several EPs, and quickly became one of the countries most sorted DJs. His debut album 'Music for the Uninvited' (2014) placed him on ‘best of the year’ lists in NPR, XLR8R, Washington Post, etc.
Willow is producer and DJ Sophie Wilson from Manchester. The artist has developed a brand new sound that is difficult to define, and her sessions include a multitude of sounds that go from house to techno. The DJs introduction to the world came when Move D and Lowtec included 'Feel me' in their compilations; the track reached # 6 on the list of 2015’s best songs in Resident Advisor.
Originally from Euskadi, El_Txef_A (Aitor Etxebarria) is continuously expanding and searching for new sounds. Non-stop tours around Europe and America have taken him to perform at some of the underground scenes most renowned clubs: Watergate (Berlin), Oval Space (London), Module (Tokyo), Nitsa (Barcelona) and more.
